  • How long are the McDonald's x LALIGA Soccer Camps?
    The McDonald’s x LALIGA Soccer Camps run for 5 days, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On Fridays, the camps will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the end-of-camp fan fest. Players will have frequent hydration breaks throughout the day to avoid dehydration. Lunch will be around 11:00 a.m. on each camp day. Campers are expected to bring their own packed lunch to camp.
  • Is transportation included?
    No, transportation to and from the camp is not included.
  • Can I sign up on the day of the camp?
    Players can sign up on the day of camp if they meet eligibility requirements and spaces are available. Registration will be closed once maximum capacity is reached at each camp. We recommend that players register early to secure their spot and not miss out on this opportunity.
  • How are the McDonald’s x LALIGA Camps different from the LALIGA Camps?
    McDonald’s is proud to sponsor a series of one-week camps across the USA where young Hispanic and Latino soccer players can train with the pros and compete for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unlike other LALIGA Camps, the McDonald's x LALIGA Soccer Camps are free for all attendees.
  • Where will the camps be held?

  • Are accommodations included?
    The McDonald’s x LALIGA Soccer Camps are day camps and do not include accommodations. You can contact us at info@laligacampsusa.com for more information about hotels that collaborate with us.
  • What is the age range for camps?
    Players born between 2007 - 2015 are welcome to register.
  • Is there a cost to attend camp?
    No, the camps are free of charge.
  • What does the player kit include?
    The player kit includes two (2) jerseys, two (2) shorts, two (2) pairs of socks, one (1) water bottle, one (1) towel, and one (1) tote.
  • Can I order extra gear?
    Additional gear is not available as part of the program.
  • What does a camp day include?
    At each camp, players will receive: - Soccer training sessions under the guidance of professional coaches that follow the LALIGA methodology. - LALIGA Camps USA x McDonald’s training kit - The opportunity to win a trip to Spain and experience LALIGA firsthand.
  • What do I have to bring to camp?
    You should bring soccer cleats, shin guards, a water bottle, a packed lunch, sunscreen, and your McDonald’s player kit (jersey, shorts, and socks).
  • How are player groups formed?
    The groups will be divided by age and level. On the first day of the camp, players will be separated into their age groups. Then, LALIGA Camps USA coaches will conduct a skill level test to finalize groups. Players may be switched between groups during the camp.
  • Who are the coaches?
    Our team of coaches will be led by LALIGA Technical Director Marc Barbero, a Spanish Certified UEFA Pro Coach. Official coaches from LALIGA will conduct the training sessions at McDonald’s x LALIGA Soccer Camps. All coaches are licensed by UEFA and are involved with LALIGA throughout the year.
  • What is the LALIGA Methodology?
    The LALIGA Methodology is a proven training method that focuses on developing a player’s abilities in four primary areas: - Coordinative and technical skills - Cognitive skills and tactical understanding - Psychological skills and affective development (the emotional and social aspects of youth soccer) - Physical fitness and conditional training
  • Are families allowed to watch the camp sessions?
    Yes, families are allowed to watch the camp sessions (pending validation from each facility).
  • What happens if we cannot play due to weather?
    In the event of inclement weather once camp begins, all campers will be escorted to the designated shelter area. If camp is canceled once started, parents/guardians will be asked to return and pick up the players.
  • Are the players medically insured?
    All campers must have their own medical coverage. Parents/guardians are responsible for any and all costs of medical attention and treatment.
  • Are players photographed during camp?
    Yes, players are photographed during camp, provided that their parent/guardian has signed a release form agreement.
